"Furthermore, from beginningless time until the present day, with our social acquaintances and friends, preceptors and monks, fellow students, parents, brothers, and six kinds of kin and relatives with whom we have lived together and shared dwelling, over every single daily necessity, we have deceived and cheated one another; or in the neighborhood, we have moved fences, expanded walls, encroached upon others' houses, altered boundary markers, seized fields and gardens, and, using public pretext for private ends, usurped others' shops, inns, settlements, and open lands. Transgressions such as these are limitless and boundless; today, with utmost sincerity, we confess and repent them all.
