一時，佛遊王舍城靈鷲山，與五百比丘四部眾俱。佛以晨旦著衣持鉢，往至一縣而行分衛，諸天龍神追於上侍，到梵志館門外而住，佛放大光普炤十方。

At one time, the Buddha was staying on Mount Gṛdhrakūṭa in Rājagṛha, accompanied by a great assembly of five hundred monks and the fourfold assembly. In the early morning, the Buddha put on his robes, took his alms bowl, and went to a district to make his alms round. Heavenly beings, dragons, and spirits followed above, attending him. He arrived outside the gate of a brahma-cultist's residence and stood there, and the Buddha emitted a great light that illuminated the ten directions everywhere.
