復能變化諸物，如觀木地種，除却餘種，此木便變為地。所以者何？木有地種分故。水、火、風、空，金銀寶物，悉皆如是。何以故？木有諸種分故。是初神通根本。

Furthermore, one is able to transform various objects. For instance, contemplating the earth element in wood and eliminating the other elements, this wood then transforms into earth. Why is this? Because wood has a portion of the earth element. Water, fire, wind, space, and treasures such as gold and silver are all like this. Why? Because wood has portions of all elements. This is the foundation of the first supernormal knowledge.
