Furthermore, a person with much lust has seven kinds of attachment: attachment to fine coloring, attachment to attractive form, attachment to deportment, attachment to voice, attachment to smoothness, attachment to sentient beings, or attachment to all of them. If one is attached to fine coloring, one should practice the method of contemplating bluish bruises, and the same applies to yellow, red, and other impure colors. If one is attached to attractive form, one should practice the method of contemplating bloating, distention, and the scattering of the body. If one is attached to deportment, one should practice the method of contemplating the newly dead, with blood flowing and bones smeared. If one is attached to voice, one should practice the method of contemplating the throat blocked and life terminated. If one is attached to smoothness, one should practice the method of contemplating the sight of bones and the disease of desiccation. If one is attached to sentient beings, one should practice the six kinds of contemplation. If one is attached to all of them, one contemplates all universally, or at times performs various other alternative contemplations. This is called the contemplation of impurity.
