「若令彼神疾疾來者，當淨澡浴、不食五辛、不飲酒、不噉肉，於靜寂處一心數息、稱彼神名、念彼神像。一日至七日，雪山大神與十二白光神等至行者前，先為說法，後授與藥，復教十二門禪。彼諸神等皆是五地大菩薩也。

"If he wishes to make that deity come quickly, he should wash and bathe cleanly, not eat the five pungent roots, not drink liquor, not eat meat, and in a quiet and secluded place single-mindedly count the breath, recite the name of that deity, and visualize that deity's image. In one to seven days, the great deity of the Snow Mountains along with the twelve White Light Deities will arrive before the practitioner. First he will expound the Dharma for him, then bestow the medicine, and further instruct him in the twelve doors of dhyāna. Those deities are all great bodhisattvas of the fifth ground.
