佛告父王：「閻浮提中有師子王！名毘摩羅。其師子法，滿四十年牝牡乃會，一交會已跳踉鳴吼，婉轉自撲體無損傷。其師子子在胎之時，如父獸王等無有異。大王當知，欲使胎中便能鳴吼飛落走伏，未有斯事。」

The Buddha told the royal father: "In Jambudvīpa there is a king of lions named Vimala. According to the nature of this lion, only upon completing forty years do the female and male mate. Having once mated, it leaps, roars, rolls over, and throws itself down, yet its body suffers no harm. While that lion's cub is in the womb, it is equal and not different from its father, the king of beasts. Great King, you should know: to expect it while in the womb to be able to roar, leap down, run, and crouch—there is no such thing."
