「欲納妃時復更沭頭，母復勅言：『前者量髮，正長一丈二尺五寸，今當更量。』即申量之，長一丈三尺五寸。我出家時天神捧去，亦長丈三尺五寸。今者父王，欲看髮相不？」

"When I was about to take a consort, my head was washed again, and my foster mother again instructed: 'Previously when I measured your hair, it was exactly one zhang, two chi, and five cun long; now I shall measure it again.' It was then extended and measured, and it was one zhang, three chi, and five cun long. When I left the household life, heavenly spirits received it and took it away, and it was also one zhang, three chi, and five cun long. Now, father the king, do you wish to see the mark of the hair?"
