10.49

時會大眾見此少分相者，須陀洹人如剎那頃成阿羅漢；觀因緣者不緣諸緣成阿羅漢；發心菩薩超越境界，增進甚深三昧海門住於性地；無生菩薩倍加增進無量勝法，住首楞嚴三昧。

When the great assembly at that time saw this small portion of the marks, srotāpannas became arhats in a single instant; those who contemplated causes and conditions became arhats without relying on conditions; aspiring bodhisattvas surpassed their realms, advanced through the gateways to the profound ocean-like samādhi, and abided in the ground of innate nature; and bodhisattvas of non-arising redoubled their progress in immeasurable supreme dharmas and abided in the śūraṅgama-samādhi.
