佛告阿難：「佛滅度後佛諸弟子，如是觀者，除半億劫生死之罪。

The Buddha told Ānanda: “After the Buddha’s parinirvāṇa, any of the Buddha’s disciples who contemplates in this way will eliminate the sins of birth and death of half a hundred million kalpas.”
