「波斯匿王末利夫人，見此變化心大歡喜：『善哉！佛日出現世間破無明闇，能令邪見得應真道。』作是語已為佛作禮白言：『世尊！如此老母宿有何罪，生卑賤處為人婢使；復何福慶值遇世尊，如好白㲲易受染色，應時即得阿羅漢道？』」

"King Prasenajit and Queen Mallikā, seeing these transformations, were filled with great joy in their hearts: 'Excellent! The Buddha-sun appears in the world to shatter the darkness of ignorance, enabling even one of wrong views to attain the path of the Arhat (yingzhen).' Having spoken these words, they paid homage to the Buddha and said: 'Bhagavat! What past sin did this old woman have that she was born in a low and wretched state as someone's maidservant? And what past good fortune did she have that she encountered the Bhagavat, like fine white cotton cloth easily taking dye, and immediately attained the path of the arhat?'"}, War
