6.45

爾時世尊放大光明照階道邊，其光如雲百千億色猶如重閣，佛處其中八萬四千化佛圍繞，五百分身諸佛與佛政等，執持衣鉢威儀詳序，分身諸佛，亦有阿難、難陀以為侍者。

At that time, the Bhagavat emitted a great light that illuminated the sides of the staircase path. The light was like clouds of hundreds of thousands of billions of colors, resembling multistoried pavilions. The Buddha sat in their midst, surrounded by eighty-four thousand transformation Buddhas; five hundred emanated bodies of Buddhas were exactly equal to the Buddha, holding robes and bowls with solemn and orderly deportment, and these emanated Buddhas likewise had Ānanda and Nanda as attendants.
