7.17

「爾時如來以梵音聲，猶如慈母撫䘏嬰兒，令彼龍王及羅剎女受法王化，請佛就座。爾時國王，復敷高床𣰽氀㲩𣰆極細軟者，張白㲲縵，真珠羅網彌覆其上，請佛世尊令處縵中。

"Then the Tathāgata, with a brahma voice, like a loving mother comforting an infant, caused that nāga king and the rākṣasīs to receive the conversion of the Dharma King, and invited the Buddha to take his seat. At that time the king also set out a high couch of the finest and softest rugs and woolen blankets, spread a canopy of fine white cotton cloth, with nets of real pearls covering it all above, and invited the Buddha, the Bhagavat, to reside within the canopy.
