9.10

「過是已後復得值佛，名摩尼光多陀阿伽度、阿羅呵、三藐三佛陀！摩尼光佛出現世時，常放光明以作佛事度脫人民。如是二萬佛皆同一號，名摩尼光。時諸世尊皆以化佛微妙光明誘接眾生。次復有佛，名栴檀摩尼光，十號具足；如是百億佛皆號摩尼光，是諸世尊誓願力故，正以眉間白毫相光，覆護眾生除滅眾罪。

“After this had passed, he again encountered a Buddha named Jewel Light (Maṇiprabha), Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha! When the Buddha Maṇiprabha appeared in the world, he constantly emitted light to perform the Buddha's work and deliver the people. Twenty thousand Buddhas in this manner all shared the same name, Maṇiprabha. At that time, all those Bhagavats guided and received sentient beings through the wondrous radiance of transformation Buddhas. Next, there was another Buddha named Sandalwood Jewel Light (Candana-maṇiprabha), fully endowed with the ten titles; ten billion Buddhas in this manner were all named Maṇiprabha. By the power of the vows of these Bhagavats, using precisely the light of the ūrṇā mark between their brows, they sheltered sentient beings and eradicated their many transgressions.
