9.12

「時彼童子受三歸依，一禮佛故諦觀佛相心無疲厭，由此因緣值無數佛，何況係念具足思惟觀佛色身？時彼童子豈異人乎？今我身是！」

"At that time, that boy received the three refuges, and because he bowed to the Buddha once and attentively contemplated the Buddha's marks with a mind devoid of weariness, by these causes and conditions he encountered countless Buddhas—how much more so if one fixes one's mindfulness, fully reflects, and contemplates the Buddha's form-body! Could that boy at that time have been someone else? It was none other than my very self!"
