9.33

爾時阿難白佛：「世尊！佛涅槃後此等愚人，無依無怙無歸依處，云何如來說除罪法？」

At that time, Ānanda said to the Buddha: "Bhagavat! After the Buddha's parinirvāṇa, these foolish people will be without reliance, without refuge, and without a place of shelter. How can the Tathāgata explain the method for eliminating their transgressions?"
