"One ray of light shines toward the eastern direction, causing the ground of the east to become golden. Mountains, rivers, trees, and forests are all engulfed in fire, yet the fiery light and the golden light do not obstruct one another. At the tips of the golden light, there are transformation Buddhas, Buddha after Buddha in succession, extending to the immeasurable worlds of the eastern direction, just as dense as stalks of rice or hemp without any gaps. Each Buddha has immeasurable bodhisattvas as attendants. These bodhisattvas also extend the mark of the tongue, exactly like that of the Buddha. The immeasurable radiance of these marks of the tongue transforms into clouds of light. Within the clouds of light, as many transformation Buddhas as fine dust motes sit cross-legged. Such rays of light are immeasurable in number. At that time, at the tip of the flames, there are five yakṣas holding sharp swords; with four mouths on their heads, they inhale fire as they run. The number of such spirits is immeasurable, extending to the eastern direction in just the same way!
