"One ray of light shines toward the western direction, making the ground of the west the colour of crystal. Upon the crystal ground are diamond clouds; within the diamond clouds are white jewel clouds; within the white jewel clouds are red pearl clouds; within the red pearl clouds are white pearl clouds; within the white pearl clouds are purple pearl clouds; within the purple pearl clouds are green pearl clouds; within the green pearl clouds are pink pearl clouds; within the pink pearl clouds are clouds of Jāmbūnada gold sand; within the gold sand clouds are clouds of diamond and mani dust motes; within the clouds of diamond and mani dust motes are clouds of dust motes of all jewel colours. Within each of these clouds are fifty-six hundred million colours, exquisite and fresh, exceeding the scope of the eyes; only a tranquil mind can accord with them. In these marks, there are further immeasurable transformation Buddhas like dust motes; for each transformation Buddha, there are immeasurable transformed disciples like dust motes. The dust motes are not large, and the Buddhas are not small, dignified and exquisite like Śākyamuni, and they also extend the mark of their tongues.
