The flowers scattered by Bodhisattva Dhanada that hovered above Ānanda transformed into clouds of flowers filling the ten directions. In each cloud were countless transformation Buddhas, each stretching out his right hand, stroking Ānanda's crown, and addressing him: "Prince of the Dharma! All the transformation bodies of the Buddha Tathāgatas are just like ours, equal and no different. Having seen them in person now, you should extensively and distinctly explain them for all sentient beings of the future, causing sentient beings to practice mindfulness of the Buddha. If they are mindful of the Buddha, they will see transformation Buddhas, equal and no different from today. If any sentient beings hear what you expound, that will constitute seeing the Buddha, and their immeasurable sins will be eradicated."
