"At that time, one should further generate this thought: 'I now mentally see many golden statues walking and sitting as they please, but I have not yet seen their supernatural transformations.' Producing this thought and mental image, one entreats the walking statues and bodhisattva statues to perform the eighteen transformations. Responding to one's thought, they immediately perform the eighteen kinds of transformations: one sees all the statues filling the ten directions leap into the air, perform the eighteen transformations with sovereign spiritual power, and universally manifest bodies of form for the practitioner to see. Having seen this, one is filled with joy and requests all the statues to turn the wheel of the Dharma. In that very instant, responding to one's thought, each and every statue with one voice praises the observance of the precepts and praises mindfulness of the Buddha! Imagining and hearing this, one's heart is filled with great joy, and one redoubles one's diligence. By virtue of this diligence, one's mental visualization is accomplished. When the mental visualization is accomplished, one sees that throughout the realms of the ten directions, all the great earth, mountains, rivers, and stone walls are completely transformed into adamantine ground. From atop the adamantine ground, white light surges forth. Amid the white lights are countless transformation Buddhas seated upon jeweled lotuses, each transformation Buddha emitting countless hundreds of thousands of millions of rays of light, and each ray of light again transforms into countless hundreds of thousands of transformation Buddhas. When this mental visualization appears, the practitioner sees golden light emitting from all the pores of their own body, illuminating everywhere. If any other realm arises, it should be quickly eliminated. This mental visualization is swifter than a fierce wind: in an instant, one sees countless transformation Buddhas. The practitioner's mind is sharp, just like a clear-sighted person holding a crystal mirror and gazing at the image of their own face; the practitioner contemplating the statues is also like this!
