「佛度世燒身，有三因緣：一者、腐爛故；二者、虫蛾生故；三者、人以香華持資來得福故。
"That the Buddha's body was cremated upon transcending the world is due to three nidānas: first, on account of decay; second, on account of insects and moths being generated; third, to enable people to gain merit by bringing offerings of incense and flowers.
