「賢士之明記者：內有智性，故曰賢士。明記此人內有智性，習功德本，於法增進，善心成辦，故曰賢士明記。

"As for the bright mark of the virtuous: having the nature of wisdom within, one is called virtuous. It brightly marks that this person has the nature of wisdom within, cultivates the roots of merit, advances in the Dharma, and accomplishes a good mind; therefore it is called the bright mark of the virtuous.
