"Furthermore, there are four prongs, used to cut off the four modes of birth, be mindful of the four noble truths, cultivate the four immeasurables, enter the four dhyānas, purify the four formless attainments, illuminate the four applications of mindfulness, strengthen the four right exertions, and attain the four bases of supernatural power; therefore four prongs are established.
