1.8

定空加地水，風火竪於心，
慧劍亦如是，出鞘能成辦。
次說如來鉤，用請於本尊，
一切眾聖主，依本誓而來。

Samādhi and space [the left thumb and fingers] hold the earth and water fingers,
while wind and fire stand erect at the heart;
the wisdom sword [on the right hand] is formed likewise,
and unsheathed it can accomplish the rites.
Next, the Tathāgata Hook is described,
used to summon the tutelary deity (yidam);
the lords of all the holy hosts
arrive in accordance with their original vows.
