持誦，言之初以唵字，後加莎訶。時從後夜至日初出時。持誦時，從日中至日沒，悅樂之容，時淡泊之心。

For recitation, one uses the syllable oṃ at the beginning of the formula and adds svāhā at the end. The time is from the late night until sunrise. When reciting, it is from midday to sunset, with a joyous countenance and a tranquil mind.
