凡欲易供養物及掃拭，先須發遣聖者、啟白尊容，然後掃拭塗香供養。行者口云：「尊容暫出離道場。」掃拭訖，塗香，復開座位，覆請已了，供養法如前。

Whenever one wishes to change the offering items and sweep and wipe [the altar], one must first dismiss the holy ones and announce it to the honoured images, and only then sweep, wipe, apply ointment incense, and make offerings. The practitioner says with his mouth: "May the honoured images temporarily depart from the bodhimanda." When sweeping and wiping are finished and ointment incense is applied, he reopens the seats, and having repeated the invitation, the method of offering is as before.
