「淨菩提心勝願寶，我今起發濟群生，
生苦等集所纏繞，及與無知所害身，
救攝歸依令解脫，常當利益諸含識。」
"The jewel of supreme vows of the pure bodhicitta— / I now give rise to it to rescue the multitudes of beings / Who are entangled in the accumulation of sufferings such as birth / And whose bodies are harmed by ignorance; / I will save, gather, shelter, and liberate them, / Always benefiting all sentient creatures."
