「阿闍梨應誦梵本，彼應長跪舒右手按地頻誦此偈，以塗香花等供養諸佛、菩薩及以地神。如是供養已，修行者須應歸命一切如來然後治地，如其次第當具眾德。」

“The ācārya should recite the Sanskrit text. Kneeling on both knees, he should extend his right hand to press the ground and recite this gāthā repeatedly, making offerings to all Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and the earth deity with ointment perfume, flowers, and the like. Having made such offerings, the practitioner must take refuge in all Tathāgatas and only then prepare the ground, which should successively possess all virtues.”
