1.40

又取五種藥。所謂：娑賀揖囉、娑賀禰縛、建吒迦哩、儗（霓以反）哩羯囉拏（二合）、勿哩（二合）賀底。當於外國估客處求覓。若無此藥，即以唐國所出靈藥替之。所謂：赤箭、人參、伏苓、石昌蒲、天門冬。

Further, take five kinds of medicine: sahasrā, sahadevā, kaṇṭakārī, girikarṇī, and bṛhatī. These should be sought from foreign merchants. If these medicines are not available, substitute them with efficacious medicines produced in the Tang realm: namely, chijian, ginseng, fuling, shichangpu, and tianmendong.
