先塗壇上，次塗四邊，皆從東北角右旋塗拭，又即以塗地真言加持隨塗誦。塗地真言曰：

First smear the top of the altar, next smear the four sides, all wiping and smearing circumambulating clockwise from the northeast corner; then consecrate with the ground-smearing mantra, reciting it as one smears. The ground-smearing mantra is:
