「復次若黑月二十九日夜，向曠野塚間燒香誦呪，即得毘舍闍鬼而來頂禮，或將珍寶供養。若欲令使者看事，一切善惡悉知。阿難！我今為汝說大印陀羅尼母能破惡業。以二頭指屈入掌中，以二大母指押頭指中節文上，以下三指各合掌誦呪，此名佛頂光陀羅尼印。阿難！復以右手大母指押中指節甲上，餘指申之，名為如來善集陀羅尼印。

"Furthermore, on the night of the twenty-ninth day of the dark fortnight, face a graveyard in the wilderness, burn incense, and recite the mantra; piśāca ghosts will come, pay homage, or bring precious treasures as offerings. If one wishes to employ messengers to observe affairs, they will know all good and evil. Ānanda! I now speak for you the great mudrā dhāraṇī mother that can destroy evil karma: bend the two index fingers into the palms, press the middle joints of the index fingers with the two thumbs, and join the remaining three fingers [on each hand] with palms together, reciting the mantra; this is called the Buddhoṣṇīṣa Radiance Dhāraṇī Mudrā. Ānanda! Further, press the joint and nail of the middle finger with the right thumb, extending the remaining fingers; this is called the Tathāgata's Excellent Gathering Dhāraṇī Mudrā.
