「呪白芥子，遶壇。兩手從中已下三指向外相叉各縛著，手背合掌，二食指直竪相去五分許，並二大指相著，各屈一節，勿著食指，頭指來去。」

"Empower white mustard seeds with mantra and circumambulate the maṇḍala. With both hands, cross the three fingers from the middle finger downward outward and bind them together; join the palms with the backs of the hands; erect the two forefingers straight, about five fen apart; place the two thumbs together, each bending one joint, without touching the forefingers; and move the index fingers back and forth."
