「起立地，二脚相離二尺許，脚指並齊。左右手中指屈中指節在掌中，次並二大指押上，左右頭指無名小指頭背著三指側，皆開合腕，以二大指下節當額上著，頭指向上。若作法，怖有惡魔，常來此印遶壇。」

"Stand up on the ground with both feet about two chi apart and the toes aligned. Bend the joints of the middle fingers of both the left and right hands into the palms; next, place both thumbs together and press them on top; place the backs of the tips of the left and right index, ring, and little fingers against the sides of the three fingers, all spread apart; join the wrists; place the lower joints of the two thumbs against the forehead, with the index fingers pointing upward. When performing rites, if one fears there are evil māras, constantly circumambulate the maṇḍala with this mudrā."
