By forming this mudrā and reciting the mantra, mentally project and broadly spread universal rains of all offering implements throughout the ocean-like assemblies of the places of practice of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas across the dharma-realm. When reciting the first time, jewelled vessels as numerous as dust and sand filled with perfumed paste universally anoint the holy assemblies. When reciting the second time, various flower garlands universally adorn them. When reciting the third time, various incenses are burned as a universal offering. When reciting the fourth time, rains of supremely wondrous food and drink of the devas are placed in jewelled vessels as a universal offering. When reciting the fifth time, rains of mani jewels serve as lamp-lights, universally offered to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Through the power of the mantra's empowerment, the offered incenses and other gifts are made truly real across all the ocean-like assemblies and enjoyed by the holy assemblies, and the practitioner shall constantly obtain them in the future.
