“Purimā, bhikkhave, koṭi na paññāyati avijjāya: ‘ito pubbe avijjā nāhosi, atha pacchā samabhavī’ti.
“Mendicants, it is said that no prior point of ignorance is found, before which there was no ignorance, and afterwards it came to be.
