Regarding theatrical shows: 'dancing' means any kind of dancing; it is not allowable to crane one's neck to watch it even while walking along the road. The detailed analysis here should be understood according to the method stated in the Samantapāsādikā. And as here, so in all discourse passages connected with the training rules. For from now on, without even saying this much, we will explain only what is necessary in each case.
