Tattha yāni suttāni bhagavā parehi anajjhiṭṭho kevalaṃ attano ajjhāsayeneva kathesi; seyyathidaṃ, ākaṅkheyyasuttaṃ, vatthasuttaṃ, mahāsatipaṭṭhānaṃ, mahāsaḷāyatanavibhaṅgasuttaṃ, ariyavaṃsasuttaṃ, sammappadhānasuttantahārako, iddhipādaindriyabalabojjhaṅgamaggaṅgasuttantahārakoti evamādīni; tesaṃ attajjhāsayo nikkhepo.

Therein, those discourses which the Blessed One spoke unprompted by others, solely through his own inclination—such as the Ākaṅkheyya Sutta, the Vattha Sutta, the Mahāsatipaṭṭhāna, the Mahāsaḷāyatanavibhaṅga Sutta, the Ariyavaṃsa Sutta, the collection of discourses on the right strivings, the collection of discourses on the bases of psychic power, the faculties, the powers, the factors of awakening, and the path factors, and so forth—their delivery is from one's own inclination.
