Mandoti mandapañño apaññassevetaṃ nāmaṃ. Momūhoti atisammūḷho. Hoti tathāgatotiādīsu satto ‘‘tathāgato’’ti adhippeto. Sesamettha uttānameva. Imepi cattāro pubbe pavattadhammānusāreneva diṭṭhiyā gahitattā pubbantakappikesu paviṭṭhā.
"Dull": dull-witted; this is just a name for one devoid of wisdom. "Stupid": utterly confused. In the phrases beginning with "A Tathāgata exists": a living being is intended by "Tathāgata." The rest here is quite clear. These four too are included among the theorists of the primal beginnings because their view is grasped solely following states that arose in the past.
