Therein, 'having form' means possessing form. 'Consisting of the four great elements' means made of the four great elements. 'Mother and father's' is maternal and paternal. What is that? Semen and ovum. 'Originating from mother and father' means born and arisen from maternal and paternal [sources]. Thus, taking the physical body as primary, he calls human existence 'the self'. 'Thus some' means in this way some, such is the meaning.
