Ettha bho gotamāti etasmiṃ maggāmagge. Viggaho vivādotiādīsu pubbuppattiko viggaho. Aparabhāge vivādo. Duvidhopi eso nānāācariyānaṃ vādato nānāvādo.

"Herein, Master Gotama" means in this matter of the path and non-path. In the phrase "dispute, contention," and so forth, dispute is that which arose first. Contention is at a later stage. Even both kinds are differing doctrines because of the doctrines of different teachers.
