Kammavipākajanti na bhāvanāmayaṃ, kammavipākavasena pana devatānaṃ cakkhusadisameva maṃsacakkhu ahosi, yena nimittaṃ katvā tilavāhe pakkhittaṃ ekatilampi ayaṃ soti uddharitvā dātuṃ sakkoti.

"Arising from the maturation of kamma" (kammavipākajaṃ) means it was not produced by development; rather, through the maturation of kamma, his physical eye was just like the eye of deities, by which, having made a mark, even with a single sesame seed thrown into a cartload of sesame seeds, he was able to take it out and give it, saying: 'This is that one.'
