"Dosinā" means free from faults; it means devoid of these five defilements: clouds, fog, smoke, dust, and Rāhu. Therefore, there are five words of praise: "delightful" and so on. For it delights the minds of the people, so it is "delightful". Because it is illuminated by moonlight free from the aforesaid faults, it is exceedingly beautiful, so it is "lovely". It is worthy to behold, so it is "splendid". It gladdens the heart, so it is "charming". It is worthy to serve as a marker of the days, months, and so on, so it is "auspicious".
