Kasatīti kassako. Gehassa pati, ekagehamatte jeṭṭhakoti gahapatiko. Balisaṅkhātaṃ karaṃ karotīti karakārako. Dhaññarāsiṃ dhanarāsiñca vaḍḍhetīti rāsivaḍḍhako.

‘He plows,’ thus he is a farmer. ‘A master of a house,’ an elder in just a single house, thus a householder. He pays a tax designated as tribute; thus a taxpayer. He increases the heap of grain and the heap of wealth; thus an increaser of heaps.
