Diṭṭho ariyasaccadhammo etenāti diṭṭhadhammo. Esa nayo sesapadesupi. Tiṇṇā vicikicchā anenāti tiṇṇavicikiccho. Vigatā kathaṃkathā assāti vigatakathaṃkatho. Vesārajjappattoti visāradabhāvaṃ patto. Kattha? Satthusāsane. Nāssa paro paccayo, na parassa saddhāya ettha vattatīti aparappaccayo. Sesaṃ sabbattha vuttanayattā uttānatthattā ca pākaṭamevāti.

The Dhamma of the Noble Truths was seen by him, thus he is "one who has seen the Dhamma." This is the method for the remaining words as well. Perplexity has been crossed over by him, thus he is "one who has crossed over perplexity." Doubts have left him, thus he is "one whose doubts have gone." "Attained to fearlessness" means reached the state of being fearless. Where? In the Teacher's Dispensation. For him there is no other condition, he does not proceed here through faith in another, thus he is "independent of others." The rest is quite evident, as the method has been stated everywhere and the meaning is plain.
