Diṭṭhadhammasukhavihārāyāti imasmiṃyeva attabhāve sukhavihāratthāya. Idha phalasamāpattijhānāni, khīṇāsavassa aparabhāge nibbattitajhānāni ca kathitāni.
‘For dwelling happily in this present life’ means for the sake of dwelling happily in this very individual existence. Here, the absorptions of the attainment of fruition, and the absorptions produced subsequently by one who has destroyed the taints, are spoken of.
