(b) Regarding 'suffusion with rapture' and so on: arising while suffusing rapture, the wisdom in two absorptions is called 'suffusion with rapture'. Arising while suffusing pleasure, the wisdom in three absorptions is called 'suffusion with pleasure'. Arising while suffusing the minds of others, the wisdom knowing others' minds is called 'suffusion of mind'. Arising in the suffusion of light, the wisdom of the divine eye is called 'suffusion of light'. The knowledge of reviewing is called 'the sign of reviewing'. And this too was said: 'Wisdom in two absorptions is suffusion with rapture; wisdom in three absorptions is suffusion with pleasure. Wisdom regarding another's mind is suffusion of mind; the divine eye is suffusion of light. The knowledge of reviewing for one who has emerged from that respective concentration is the sign of reviewing' (Vibh 804).
