Tena kho panānanda, samayena rañño mahāsudassanassa caturāsīti nāgasahassāni sāyaṃ pātaṃ upaṭṭhānaṃ āgacchanti.
Now at that time his 84,000 royal elephants came to attend on him at daybreak and dusk.
