‘ayaṃ ahi, ayaṃ karaṇḍo. Añño ahi, añño karaṇḍo, karaṇḍā tveva ahi ubbhato’ti.
‘This is the snake, this is the slough. The snake and the slough are different things. The snake has been drawn out from the slough.’
