‘kiṃ panāyasmā sāriputto ekaccaṃ abbhanujānāti, ekaccaṃ na abbhanujānātī’ti, evaṃ puṭṭho ahaṃ, bhante, evaṃ byākareyyaṃ:
‘But why does Venerable Sāriputta grant this in respect of some but not others?’ I would answer them like this,
