‘yo imāhi catūhi disāhi āgamissati samaṇo vā brāhmaṇo vā, tamahaṃ yathāsatti yathābalaṃ paṭipūjessāmī’ti.
‘When an ascetic or brahmin comes from the four quarters, I will honor them as best I can.’
