10.9.p4

‘‘Yaṃ pubbe taṃ visosehi, pacchā te māhu kiñcanaṃ;
Majjhe ce no gahessasi, upasanto carissasī’’ti. (su. ni. 955, 1105; cūḷani. jatukaṇṇimāṇavapucchāniddesa 68);

What is past, — let that seem best. Before thee let there be nothing.
And if thou wilt not grasp what lies between, thou shalt walk in peace.
